2-Day Professional Course on “Creative Placemaking: Digital Memories and Ephemeral Moments”

In this 2-day course led by internationally acclaimed artist Alex May, participants will learn about creative placemaking; a technology that uses software to transform photographs of physical objects into full-colour 3D virtual models,

which can be used in rendering software such as Blender or game engines such as Unity. Participants will learn about creative placemaking technology, as well as the correct ways to take photographs and use software to transform images into 3D models and render them using Blender.

Participants are welcome to bring objects of their choice to be scanned or photographed on site.

This course is suitable for beginners with basic computer skills.

Language: English.

All required materials will be provided and coffee and drinks will be provided to participants.
