On the occasion of Alexandria's National Day celebrations and its selection as the Capital of Culture and Dialogue for 2025, under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Heno, Minister of Culture, the Fine Arts Sector, headed by Dr. Walid Qanoush, announces that the Mahmoud Said Museums Center - Cultural Activity Department will hold a series of lectures on photography, cinematography, and visual arts.
This is in cooperation with the Soura Art Foundation, the Pharaohs International Photography Club, and the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority, Alexandria Office.
The lectures will be held from May 15, 2025, to July 21, 2025, in the Center's seminar hall.
The first lecture is titled "The Philosophy of the Image."
The lectures will be delivered by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Salam, Professor of Art History at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University, and Dr. Abdel Qader Allam, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Soura Art Foundation.
