We are thrilled to invite you to the opening of "Circular Ruins", a solo exhibition by Chinese artist Qiruo He. Tuesday, 9.9 7:00 PM 10 Elnabrawi St. off of Champollion St. downtown, cairo. Born in China in 1990, Qiruo He has been living in Egypt since 2016. She studied film art in Chang’an University and later earned a master’s degree in painting and ceramics in Belarus. Her works reflect personal memories, emotions, and daily moments translated into visual stories—poetic, intimate, and raw. Her art has been exhibited and collected across China, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Lebanon, UK, USA, and beyond. In "Circular Ruins", Qiruo presents works that arise from unguarded moments—as echoes, fragments, or fleeting sensations. They appear without explanation, but carry warmth and memory. The title is inspired by Borges’ The Circular Ruins, not as a direct reference, but as a symbolic space—where beginnings and endings collapse into each other. Where time is circular, not linear. Where what is lost returns. This is not an explanation. This is an invitation.
