Minister of Culture inaugurates "Quarter Tone" exhibition by international artist Naseer Shamma at the Egyptian Opera House Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, inaugurated the "Quarter Tone" exhibition by international artist Naseer Shamma, which is hosted by the Fine Arts Sector, headed by Dr. Walid Qanoush, at El Bab Gallery in the Egyptian Opera House Square, in the presence of Dr. Nevin El Kilani, former Minister of Culture, and a number of public figures, artists, and art professors. Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, praised the high artistic level of the exhibition, saying: "The "Quarter Tone" exhibition by artist Naseer Shamma is a living embodiment of the power of art and its ability to transcend diverse cultural boundaries, as the works on display represent a spiritual and intellectual journey that touches the depths of the soul, and confirms the distinction and uniqueness of the artist's creativity, as he was able to create a visual language that reflects his deep musical experience, which makes this exhibition an exceptional event that blends diverse artistic colors." The Minister of Culture added: "We are proud that Cairo is hosting this exhibition that embodies the convergence of different arts, where colors turn into melodies, and the brush into a musical instrument. This exhibition confirms that art is the bridge that connects cultures, and expresses the spirit of creativity that unites us as human beings." Dr. Walid Qanush said: "Nasr Shamma presents a group of his pictorial works that reflect mysticism and delicacy as if they were engravings on an ancient wall, where his abstract style gave them broad dimensions of imagination and poetry as if they were one of his melodies, but this time visual, leaving all freedom to the recipient's conscience to read them and be affected by them, as they are like sweet melodies that allow for the weaving of dreams and feelings." For his part, the artist Naseer Shamma said: "I am very happy that my second personal exhibition is being held in Cairo, where I spent a third of my life as a founder, a performer, and an active part of its cultural movement." It is worth noting that the exhibition's activities will continue until February 1, and visits are daily from 9 am to 9 pm, except for Fridays. #Visual_Arts_Sector
