The Story of Light

Ahmed Farid opens his 18th art exhibition entitled “The Tale of Light” Artist Ahmed Farid opened his new art exhibition entitled “The Tale of Light” which includes 40 distinctive artworks through which he expresses his own story with light using his unique artistic tools and symbols. Farid relies in his works on birds, which symbolize peace and freedom, and flowers, which represent hope and love. He also employs his artistic characters in a unique dramatic style that reflects diverse feelings and expressions from faces that seem to be telling stories, in which we see confusion, anticipation, waiting, and love, which embodies characters that resemble life in a world of their own. This solo exhibition is the eighteenth in the career of artist Ahmed Farid, after a series of solo exhibitions he held in the United States of America, most notably the international museum exhibition “The Secret of The Golden Ramses” held at the Houston Museum of Nature and Science in Texas, USA.

Ahmed Farid was born in Alexandria, he was raised in an artistic household with two siblings and a family that nourished his love and passion for the arts.
When mapping any piece of artwork, Farid’s goal is to represent people’s lives as well as his own personal experiences.
Exhibition will be held at hall 1 and will continue until 5 October, 2024
