In parallel with the Noon and Arts exhibition at Picasso Gallery, we are pleased to present the Layers of Memory exhibition by Salma Abdel Aziz, opening Saturday, March 8.
The distinguished artist and academic Salma Abdel Aziz has been an integral part of the Egyptian art scene since 1977. The former head of the Painting Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Helwan University, she has exhibited extensively in Egypt and internationally, representing Egypt in prestigious exhibitions throughout Europe, Japan, and the Middle East. Her work, deeply rooted in cultural narratives, bridges history and contemporary artistic expression.
The exhibition opens at 8 p.m. in Hall 2 and will run until March 31, 2025.
