Organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Riyadh, the Palace of Culture Hall in the Embassy District in Riyadh will witness the opening of the “Aslaf” Yemeni Fine Arts and Cultural Forum. The exhibition brings together more than 108 Yemeni visual artists, whose works were sent from various governorates in Yemen, in addition to the participation of artists residing outside Yemen and artists from the Kingdom.
The exhibition's sections range from the fine arts pavilion, the Arabic calligraphy and direct drawing pavilion, the Yemeni traditional costumes and jewelry pavilion, and the photographs pavilion.
On the opening day, artistic performances bearing the imprint of the Yemeni artist Ammar Al-Azki will be held, in addition to seminars covering the plastic arts, cultural heritage, and Yemeni architectural arts, in which specialized researchers will participate.
This forum comes under the patronage of Ambassador Dr. Shaye’ Al-Zindani and with the support of the Cultural Attaché Dr. Taha Hussein Hadeel, in addition to appreciating the participating efforts of the artists Hussam Al-Rudaini, Balqis Al-Hussam, and Rasha Suleiman from the IBEX Foundation for Culture and Arts.
The exhibition continues for visitors from Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 7:30 pm until December 9. Entry is free. An opportunity to come and enjoy the artists' creativity.
