Between the Pulse of Color and the Memory of Place: "Karmat Ibn Hani" Celebrates the Visions of Hani Arafa and Sherine Mostafa

The "Karmat Ibn Hani" Center at the Ahmed Shawky Museum is currently hosting an artistic duo, bringing together the works of artist Hani Arafa and Dr. Sherine Mostafa in a visual dialogue launched last Wednesday in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, Head of the Fine Arts Sector.

Dr. Sherine Mostafa presents her exhibition "Demolition Order," which embodies a dramatic transformation from a personal experience into a comprehensive visual narrative. The artist begins with a painful moment: the eviction of her studio, which had witnessed years of her professional life. She then reinterprets this moment in an artwork that transcends personal documentation, exploring the relationship between people and place, and how walls and belongings become parts of the soul that are difficult to relinquish.
