energies : An old colloquial word used in Najd to refer to windows or small openings in the mud-brick walls of houses, also known as darayish or shababeek. These openings were an integral part of traditional Najdi architecture, allowing light and air to enter the homes.

I drew inspiration for the name “Taqaat” from the presence of windows and architectural openings in my works, in an attempt to evoke the beauty of these heritage details and present them with a contemporary artistic spirit.
