"Other Faces": A Continuous Journey of Experimentation and Sculpture by Sculptor Younes Nassef at the Mahmoud Mokhtar Center
Dr. Mahmoud Hamed, Head of the Fine Arts Sector, inaugurated the "Other Faces" exhibition by sculptor Dr. Younes Nassef on Thursday evening at the Isis Hall in the Mahmoud Mokhtar Cultural Center. The exhibition, which includes a number of artworks representing different artistic trends, reflects the culmination of an artistic journey spanning more than a quarter of a century of continuous experimentation and research into contemporary sculptural materials and the relationship between mass and space, and form and reality. The sculptures in "Other Faces" reveal Dr. Younes Nassef's influence by major international figures in modern sculpture, such as Alberto Giacometti, Henry Moore, and Marino. Nassef employs the solidity of diverse sculptural materials to interact with the delicacy of human emotions, transforming mass, lines, and visual rhythms into an expressive energy that conveys profound feelings, transcending the traditional constraints of form. The "Other Faces" exhibition is scheduled to run until August 9th.
