The 7th International Festival of Fine Arts Morocco
In the presence of the governor of Kelaat Es-Sraghna and with the participation of foreign artists: The 7th International Festival of Fine Arts kicks off in Sidi Rahal
The city of Sidi Rahal in the Kelaat Es-Sraghna region hosted the opening of the 7th International Festival of Fine Arts this morning, Wednesday, December 10th. The festival is being held on the sidelines of the 27th Sidi Rahal Festival.
This festival, organized by the Moroccan Association of Visual Arts and Cultural Exchange in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, and in celebration of His Majesty King Mohammed VI's speech of October 31, 2025, and the Marrakech-Safi Regional Council, aims to encourage emerging young talent and instill a love of art in them. The festival's theme is: "Manifestations of Artistic Creativity Between the Unity of the Kingdom's Territory and the Richness of its Cultural Influences."
The festival's events, which were attended on Wednesday by Mr. Samir El Yazidi, Governor of the Kelaat Es-Sraghna Province, Member of Parliament Abdelrahim Waamrou, the Pasha of the city, the President of the Sidi Rahal Municipal Council, and representatives of local associations, include art competitions, painting workshops, exhibitions, lectures, and cultural and artistic seminars focusing on Moroccan cultural diversity and promoting the values of tolerance.
The seventh edition of the international festival, which features the participation of visual artists from abroad and Morocco, is distinguished by a seminar on "Cultural Diplomacy and Artistic Action: Its Role in Strengthening Morocco's Position on the International Stage," in addition to a visual arts workshop. At the Hassan I Park, a photography workshop was held, followed by an awards ceremony honoring the participants and presenting certificates and prizes.
Then, a trip to northern Morocco from the 13th to the 16th, departing on December 17th, 2025. The Moroccan Association for Fine Arts and Cultural Exchange is organizing this trip for the artists participating in the 7th International Festival of Fine Arts, visiting the cities of: Tangier, Chefchaouen, Tetouan, Asilah, Casablanca (Hassan II Mosque), and Rabat (Hassan Tower).
