Dr. Hossam Mowafy, Professor of Critical Care Medicine at Kasr El Ainy, Mr. Ahmed Aql, Executive Director of Americana Communications, journalist Ms. Fatima Abu Hatab, Deputy Governor of the Rotary District, and Prof. Ashraf Fathy, Professor of Design and Decoration at the Faculty of Education, Suez Canal University, inaugurated the 9th Al-Ahram International Salon under the title "Carnival" at the Al-Ahram Art Hall at Al-Ahram Foundation. Artist Amani Zahran, Director of the Acquisitions and Art Exhibitions Department and the exhibition commissioner, stated that the carnival is a wonderful color show of various art schools for a group of about 80 artists, both professionals and amateurs, adults, youth and children, from all governorates of Egypt, with Arab participation by a group of brilliant artists, who represented their countries in this artistic event. The exhibition will extend until next Thursday with live art workshops by artists Mohamed Abdel Jalil and Reda Awad, and an art seminar by Dr. Sami El Balshy on art therapy and how to read and produce an artwork, and Dr. Nabila El Khawas on the effect of hot colors on artwork.
