The Opera House, headed by Dr. Lamia Zayed, hosts the exhibition "When the Silence Breaks" by artist Kholoud Mohamed Hosni, which will be inaugurated by Dr. Walid Qanush, Head of the Fine Arts Sector, and artist Mohamed Abla, in the presence of many plastic artists and critics, at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, December 17, in Salah Taher Hall, and will continue until Sunday, December 22.
The exhibition includes 60 paintings executed in acrylic colors, reflecting a period of time and real events experienced by artist Kholoud Mohamed Hosni, who invested in painting as one of the advanced methods of treatment and a starting point to depict the strength and empowerment of women. In a number of them, she followed the impressionistic method to express feelings through colors.
It is worth noting that Kholoud Hosni graduated from the German School for Nuns and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cinema and Theater Design with honors and a Bachelor's degree in Cinema and Theater Design from the Faculty of Arts and Design, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts. She worked as a ballet dancer and held 7 individual art exhibitions, during which she was inspired by topics related to women's steadfastness in the face of challenges. She participated in international exhibitions and received numerous honors and awards.
