Every art has a painting, every painting has a brush, every brush has an artist, and the creative artist transports us from one time and place to another.
He also tells us in the language of the pen and the creative artist: Al-Hanouf Qadimi made a mark for herself in the world of art through her paintings that suggest beauty and splendor, which made her the talk of art people and society in general.
1- First, we would like to know the identification card of our artist?
My talent for drawing was discovered by my parents when I was 12 years old, and I was supported and encouraged by them. Thank God, they are the first supporter. I am a social worker with a passion for this field and I have a view that there is a special connection between art and social service.
2-A unique combination of social worker and visual artist. How did you combine them?
Social service is something special, and from my experience in the field, I found that there is a beautiful connection between social service and art, so that I can understand societal thought and how they have a different and diverse outlook on the artistic field in particular.
3-Does art keep you away from your work or make you happy and benefit you more?
Art inspires me to show the beauty that I see with my own eyes, and it is certainly something that makes me happy, increases my contemplation of life, gives me patience and focus, and discovers the colorful beauty that exists in life.
4- When did the artist begin her journey in the world of art? And who supported you in your beginnings?
From the age of 12, the talent was discovered by my family, and I practiced it intermittently until the age of 18, and seven years later, I returned to working on the board, especially in acrylic colors. The family is the first supporter, praise be to God.

5- Were you influenced by one of the famous painters?
One of the artists that caught my attention is the international artist Van Gogh
I was drawn to his historical works, their stories, how his works were discovered, and the life in which he lived
6- Where does the artist get the idea for the paintings from?
From the reality around me and how to connect ideas together in order to produce different and distinctive work
8- Are there specific rituals while drawing?
Music and coffee are essential to my ritual
9- We all know that the process of painting paintings is very expensive, especially at the present time. Does the artist receive any kind of support or care?
In fact, currently there is no support, but I hope that appropriate opportunities and support, as well as places and spaces, will be available to allow artists to produce more works and form practical links between artists.
10- What are the most important art exhibitions that you participated in?
1- In October of 2023, we participated with the Saudi House under the wing of Saudi Industry with a painting that decorates the Saudi House and mimics the heritage. The painting was dedicated to His Highness Prince “Abdulaziz bin Khalid bin Thamer Al Saud.”
- In December of 2023, participation took place under the pavilion of Saudi Industry in Dubai, Big5 Global. A live mural was painted and a special artistic painting simulating the Saudi heritage was dedicated to His Excellency the Kingdom’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Sultan Al-Anqari, and symbolic paintings were also made for some of the visitors. - It was done Participation in the Ehsas exhibition from 2023
11- What is your assessment of art in the Kingdom? What does he need to be at the top of the pyramid?
Praise be to God, there is a noticeable development in the Kingdom in the artistic field in all its fields and diversity.
It just needs to shed light on outstanding, deserving artists, support their skills, and put them in the right place
12- What are your upcoming projects?
She became a member of the Gesft Fine Arts Association
God willing, we will participate with the association during the coming period
