Plastic art is a talent that God has placed in certain people, and they are the ones who distinguish themselves from others in this art and are creative in it. Plastic art is considered a form of human culture, because it expresses subjectivity, and not an expression of the need of the plastic artist, male or female, for the requirements of their life. The word is used (Art) to denote creative works that express creative talent in many artistic skills. Speaking of plastic art, there are male and female creative men and women in the skies of this art, and among them is a plastic artist whose drawings are distinguished from others, and she had the largest share of the admiration of everyone. Seeing her beautiful paintings, this plastic artist attracted the attention of visitors to the Visual Dialogues exhibition by the Language of Arts team, at the “Rawafid” Fine Arts Gallery in Riyadh, which lasted for 3 days from Wednesday to Friday last week. Asir electronic newspaper was dazzled by the beauty of these paintings in the exhibition, and met the owner of this creativity, who is the visual artist Fawzia Al-Shehri. He spoke to “Asir” saying: The beginning of my involvement in the world of plastic arts was at the hands of my father - may God protect him - when he was helping me with drawing in the first grades in In the primary stage, his drawing style attracted me, so I began to imitate his drawings until I developed little by little. In the sixth grade, my drawings impressed my teacher, so I walked around with my notebook to all the classrooms to show them my drawings as an incentive for me to continue and to encourage the students. Indeed, they had a profound impact on me, and on the other hand, I took my hand into the world of fine art. Al-Shehri added: I stopped drawing for about ten years during university, then I returned to drawing last year with the encouragement of my family, friends, and relatives. God willing, this will be the beginning of my launch of creativity and excellence. Al-Shehri noted: I have a variety of artistic works. I did not limit myself to a specific color world. In my works, I used acrylic, oil, watercolor, lead, charcoal, prisma crayons, and wooden colors. What I realized from my experiences with colors is that each type imposes its effect in highlighting artistic paintings in a way that is different and distinct from other colors. Bint Al-Shehri said: I participated in various drawing competitions that helped me acquire different artistic skills and methods in a short period. My actual participation in exhibitions began last year, and the Visual Dialogues exhibition is considered my second participation with the distinguished Language of Arts group. At the conclusion of the meeting with the visual artist Fawzia Al-Shehri, she extended her thanks and special appreciation to Ms. Zainab Al-Khuraiji for establishing this wonderful team in which we sensed their frank and clear goal, to support and encourage the talented in society without any exploitation of art and artists or monopolizing their work for profit or personal goals. Thanks also go to my family. And my husband, my relatives, and my friends for their continuous motivation and support. Al-Shehri also said, all thanks and appreciation to Professor Hanif Al-Thail for this meeting in the Asir electronic newspaper, which is always distinguished in all forums.>
