A creator from the country of the Two Holy Mosques, her art was associated with beauty, feathers and the art of colors. The subtleties of color have inspiration, so she excelled in shaping it and contributing to the birth of perfection. Her magnificence works bear the title of what she translated of sincerity of feeling and conscience. She is the Saudi plastic artist (Fatima Al-Sharif). Who are you, what and for whom do you draw, what is your advantage, and how do you view your artistic personality? Name: Fatima Al-Sharif, a Saudi artist who is good at drawing and poetry. She is an ordinary and sensitive person. She has a talent for drawing and loves expression with her brushes and colors in some matters. I like to spend some of my time with my paintings in my humble studio. Everything in my imagination I turn into a painting and I try to transfer it to reality. Q: When did Fatima start holding a pen or a feather? A: Since my early childhood, I have loved drawing, as I used to draw cartoon characters and find admiration from those around me. I grew up and my ambition grew to become a visual artist. Q: What was the first thing you drew and decided to be your first work? I love all my work, as I consider it a part of me, and every work for me tells a story Q: Why did you choose plastic art? A: Because I find myself in it, it is a gift from the Lord of the Worlds Q: Did the school play a role in refining your talent, and how? A: Yes. I was participating in drawing competitions and got certificates of thanks, and I was nominated by a drawing teacher at the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for the Gifted. Q: Is there an artist or visual artist in your family? A: I have from my family who are art connoisseurs and lovers, and I have a sister who is studying abroad in this field and she is a fan of plastic art. Q: What was the role of your family in establishing you as an artist? A: Encouragement is the most important role, as they were the first to acquire a painting for me for a symbolic amount, to motivate and encourage me Q: Have you ever attended an art school? A: I love the diversity of artistic schools and I tend to the expressive school of experimentation Q: Why does the artist put an amount for a painting when the cost of the painting sometimes does not exceed tens of riyals, which are the colors only? On the contrary, the technical materials are expensive.. The price of the painting is part of the value of the work and varies from one artist to another How many paintings have you painted? I usually do not count my works, because I love the diversity between paintings, drawing on walls, fabrics, and everything that can be turned into a painting> Q- What is the philosophy applied by the plastic artist "Fatima Al-Sharif" to make her art a taste that all tastes enjoy? C- Privacy, innovation, permanent research and experimentation, and this requires daring and challenge. Q- Fine art is called beautiful art. How does the plastic artist Fatima Al-Sharif highlight the aesthetic of her work? C- The artist's task is to search for beauty in places that may not be up to beauty, but the artist always records those scenes and shows them through his color on his spaces and with a philosophical thought that directs others to open the horizon of contemplation and enjoyment of beauty. Q - "Abstraction is the reduction of reality", to what extent do the works of the plastic artist "Fatima Al-Sharif" reach, and do you track the development of the events surrounding its various elements, and how do you maintain the characteristics of stability and clarity in this? C- Abstraction is an art school based on color spaces on the surface, in which the artist reduces reality and shows what he wants for the recipient to enter his depths and try to discover what the artist wants, but in my experience I try to simplify and express in a way that gives privacy with intentional blurring and at the same time show what I want to reach others, and this method is not easy and requires special thought and philosophy. Q - The Tunisian historian "Ibn Khaldun" says, "Every good person in the industry has the illusion that people are in need of what he has, so he will be raised above them." Do you have a belief in this opinion? C- My only belief is that of humility to God, his exaltation, and my constant supplication is that the more humble I become, the more I rise, and the artist is attached to the recipient to the extent of adhesion, so the artwork is not complete without a recipient .. My happiness is complete by being close to people. Q- Pain creates or provokes energy buried within a person. * What is the essential feature that connects pain with art? C. The sufferer screams to express the pain, and what he feels inside falls into that cry, and the artist, when he is in pain, projects what is inside him onto the spaces that he forms, so it strongly expresses this pain and turns into creativity if it is well formed. Q- One of the philosophers said *"Man is a beautiful machine that works badly", To what extent do you converge or diverge with him in your opinion? C- This statement does not apply to the creative, evolving artist who is looking for a mechanism of movement that is always changing, whether by technique, color or material, so he breaks the characteristic of monotonous and repetitive mechanization and transforms it into a movement that is constantly changing for the better and developed with a development commensurate with the situation. Q: When did you paint (Fatima)? Do the problems and circumstances of the artist, or the situations he goes through, influence the formation of his painting, as is the case, for example, with the poet? A _ Yes, the artist's circumstances have an influence that appears in his paintings, whether joy or sadness. For me, I love mixing poetry with drawing, as most of my paintings are poems. Q _ After the dialogue between you and me, I do not find another question to ask. Your answers are very impressive and impressive, and this is evidence of your love first before your talent in drawing for this type of drawing arts. Is there a word you want to direct to those who have the talent for drawing or want to become one of the famous artists in the future? A: I wish them success, achieving their ambitions, and developing their talent through learning and practice. And I would like * to extend my thanks to Al-Gharbia Newspaper for its interest in the Saudi cadres and raising their status * and pushing them * for progress and advancement in the service of this dear country * the homeland of love and brotherhood.
