The artist Ahmed Muhammad Al-Khazmari, born in the city of Al-Baha, Al-Safah, is a distinguished Saudi artist in abstract painting. He participated in many exhibitions inside and outside the Kingdom. He is the founder of the “Masar” Fine Arts Group in Jeddah. He works for the management of the Saudi Telecom Company in Jeddah. His works rely on the rich visual inventory that he carries. Since childhood, Al-Khazmari has presented the spirit of Saudi heritage in a contemporary, colorful style that combines different cultures, which is evident in his achievements. He has a special imprint that distinguishes him from other Saudi artists. His style is distinguished by connoisseurs of fine art, even if he does not sign his name on the painting.
The critic “Muhammad Al-Shahdi” said about him: With a comprehensive view in his works, we find a systematic and integrated presentation, starting with the formations of space in color, movement, location, and boldness, passing through the clear richness of the rhetorical dimension and its variations. The eye accustomed to the general visual background “sky-earth” is summoned by the artist “Ahmed Al-Khazmari” with its familiar geometry. But he pours throughout it the details of his speeches, from one work to another, not caring except for his system, distributing them with a specificity that forced me to praise his process of polarization, although it is a fixed and primary principle when confronting any artistic work, it reaches its peak in “Al-Khazmari” for something like Receiving with hugs, and when summoning him to the place as a key element of his speech, which there is no doubt that here he goes with it more than it being a space, being nostalgic and provocative of memory, and I say this from the standpoint of the terrain that accompanies for him architecture as a symbol only, the terrain of color with its homogeneous abundance of times and diversity, as well as the movement far removed from all stereotyping. It is not desirable, as it gives each area of the workspace its own rhythm.
